Procedure Detail |
When a patient is undergoing Botox treatments, they will change the muscles of the face that are associated with wrinkles. The doctor will first start by applying an anesthetic cream. Once the doctor is ready, he will inject 1-2 ccs of Botox directly where the wrinkles are present, relaxing the underlying muscles and smoothing the face out. Ice is immediately applied onto the injected area and the treatment then is complete. The effects of Botox last for up to six months past the initial injection and repetition is optional.

Recovery |
After the lip augmentation procedure, you may experience some pain and swelling. This usually lasts a few days, and your recovery will depend on your lifestyle and which lip enhancement you undergo. If you are having injections, your recovery can take just a couple days, though the swelling or bruising may last longer. If you are having surgical implants or grafts, your recovery can take up to two weeks after the surgery.
