Facial Surgery Procedures

A facelift is a procedure in which excess fat is removed and the muscles in the surrounding areas are tightened creating a more youthful look. A facelift can be combined with many other surgeries to improve the most visible signs of aging.

A brow lift is almost the same as a forehead lift. In these procedures the muscles of the face are pulled to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, frown line, and sagging eyebrows. When a brow or forehead lift is complete, the result is a more youthful appearance and tighter face.

Patients sometimes have many problems with the look and shape of their eyelids. Blepharoplasty, an eyelid corrective surgery, can eliminate these issues and can also remove bags that lie underneath the eyes.

Many candidates for Rhinoplasty, or nose surgery, have problems with the appearance of their nose and the ratio of it to their faces. Physical defects can also contribute to problems with breathing and the overall look of the nose. By undergoing nose surgery, a patient can achieve the aesthetic goals he/she has set for themselves.

Lip augmentation is a procedure in which collagen or fat is implanted directly into the problem area. This procedure creates fuller lips and eliminates wrinkles near the mouth.

Facial Rejuvenation

The elimination of wrinkles from the face is a result of a non-surgical phenomenon. Botox can also reduce the look of frown lines and creases in the forehead. Botox is said to relieve tension headaches and excessive sweating. This tightening of the muscles in the face also can help with muscle spasms near the neck and eyes.

Also in the Botox category is Restylane. Doing the same job as Botox, Restylane removes wrinkles from the face or to enhance the look of lips. Topical anesthesia is applied and the patient can go back to work and other activities almost immediately.
